Anybody have any decent horror recommendations?

I've yet to find a sub genre of horror movies that entices me any more than zombie movies did back in my teens.

What movies will give me that amazing, survivalist, heart pounding- feeling again?

Please no movies that rely purely on jump scares, they bore me to death.

(Also, now don't judge me on this, but the Scream series are my favorite movies ever)
