What's in a name?

So, a lot of us have shared our real names on here and given that we come from all over the place, lots of them are weird and wonderful. I was wondering if you could share your name and the story behind it (if there is one).

I'll go first:
My name is Kalli (rhymes with Sally). My dad chose my name, because my mum wanted to call me Swan (if I was a boy or a girl!) and my dad hated that idea. He also chose the spelling. Because he is mean.
