I made a huge mistake, advice needed

Good day everyone
So... At the beginning of the year I met a girl and short story, I invited her to a date too soon and obviously got rejected. Since I'm really bad at this dating situations, I would like to hear your advice since I don't know if I should try again with the same girl (I feel it's awkward our interaction now).
