Is 30 too old to still dye your hair a whacky colour?

i've been thinking of doing my hair a funky and unusual number and just wanted an honest opinion of whether i'm too old for that or if it's still acceptable (sometimes i see women in their 50s/60s with weird colours and i cringe) Would it be weird and unprofessional?
