Does anyone have experience with the Clarisonic?

A while ago I bought the Clarisonic Mia 2, and really let it collect dust in the box it was in (I got a good deal on it with a Fresh daily cleanser, a GlamGlow mud mask thingy and a OleHenriksen gel squishy orange thingy so precise) and I used it tonight for the first time in a long time and it irritated the fuck out of my skin even though i have the sensitive brush. Reading reviews online, people said to stick it through and skin will settle in a week or 2 since it pulls the dirt to the surface from the pores and that will irritate it. Thoughts?
